14 JanBrexit impact on G-TEC’s EU customers

G-TEC Distribution Ltd has been closely following the Brexit proceedings and despite there still being some uncertainty on what Brexit will look like, as a supplier of yours, G-TEC Distribution Ltd has put plans in place to ensure the impact to the business and therefore you as our customer is kept to a minimum.

G-TEC Distribution Ltd needs to bring to your attention that from the 1st January 2021, G-TEC Distribution Ltd will ship your goods on a DAP basis. This means that G-TEC Distribution Ltd will continue to arrange the delivery of your goods to the specified destination with freight cost charged to you and also arrange the Export paperwork for clearance out of the UK.

Please note however, import clearance in to the EU will be your responsibility this does include any duty and taxes; even with G-TEC Distribution Ltd arranging the transport. You will be contacted by DPD to settle any duty and taxes payable prior to clearance of your goods. Prompt payment would be appreciated to avoid delays in receiving your goods. If payment of duty and taxes is not made within 10 days, DPD will return your goods to G-TEC and any costs incurred in association with the return will be invoiced to you.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your G-TEC Sales representative.
